January in Review

·2 mins
Photo of me after I showed up for a ruck wearing a bathrobe and flip-flops when it was only 7 degrees Fahrenheit outside.
He’s explaining that a bathrobe and flip-flops are inappropriate attire to ruck in when it’s only seven degrees Fahrenheit. It’s important to note that I was also wearing a hat.

January started a bit rough as I battled a persistent cough that I picked up over the holidays. Despite that, I connected with some old friends, volunteered with the Travis Manion Foundation, attended a paint night with my wife, and participated in one of the local polar bear dips with one of the ruck clubs. There were some exciting changes at work, and I even got to take a business trip somewhere warm.

Watching #

  • Silo - Oh, how I missed this show.
  • Star Wars: Skeleton Crew - Goonies in Space is accurate and was likely part of the pitch.
  • Landman - We started it when we ran out of Taylor Sheridan stuff to watch, and it did not disappoint.
  • The Pitt - I enjoy the running gag where the doctor has to keep getting new scrubs.
  • What If…? - We binged this, and now I really want a Darcy and Howard the Duck movie series.
  • Section 31 - I had high hopes and was thoroughly disappointed.
